
| Antelope Hills Ranch is 200 acres with frontage on Highway 26. It borders Granite Creek Road on the west which is a county road with power and telephone the full length of it. Location The ranch is less than three miles from the boat dock on the South Fork of the Snake River in Conant Valley (which is a few miles below Swan Valley), 35 miles east of Idaho Falls, 55 miles from Jackson Wy. It borders Highway 26 at mile post 368. Terrain On the north end, near Highway 26, is a 150 acre field planted in alfalfa, the rest is a mountain covered with Quaken Aspen and Douglas Fir trees and some sage. From places there is a view of the South Fork and the Grand Tetons. Water Granite Creek flows on the north and west borders. It is a year-round stream, but may dry up in years of severe drought. Wildlife Deer, elk, moose, and coyote are commonly seen on the ranch and on rare occasions bear and lion. Elk are seen most commonly, the Aspen covered mountain is excellent cover for them. Several species of upland game birds are often seen. Nearby Recreation The South Fork of the Snake River, famous for Cutthroat Trout fly fishing, is less than 3 miles with a public boat dock in Conant Valley and another downstream 20 miles near Heise Hot Springs. Palisades Lake is only 30 minutes away offering unlimited boating. Yellowstone Park is about a 2 hour drive, Jackson Hole about an hour, Grand Teton National Park about 1 and 1/2 hours and Craters of the Moon about 2 ½ hours away. Grand Targhee Ski Resort near Driggs, Id is about 50 miles away, the ski areas in Jackson Hole, WY are about the same distance, and Kelly Canyon Ski Resort near Heise Hot Springs Resort is about 25 miles.
